New features
Skills Management – The possibility to assign skills (specific competences) to people has been introduced. This feature differentiates which person can handle which queue, based on their skill assignment. For more information see: Managing Skills.
Creating schedules from multiple queues – It is now possible to select more than one queue during schedule creation. The requirements for all selected queues are then summed up, and one schedule is created for them all. More details are available on the page: Manual Scheduling.
Multi-Skill environment – In the new version it is possible for one person to handle multiple skills and, as a result, is able to participate in several different queues at the same time. Work contributions in each queue is calculated based on an algorithm to assign people is the most effective way. It allows for the creation of optimized schedules. Please read more here: Evaluating requirements.
Changes and improvements
Bulk Queue assignment – It is now possible to assign a queue to multiple people at once.
Filtering schedules based on multiple queues – Because one schedule can now be created for multiple queues, it is also possible to filter schedules based on more than one queue.
