Unify OpenScape Xpert Integration

Supported for on-premise DEPLOYMENTS + Hybrid Deployments

Purpose

This guide provides a general overview of Unify OpenScape Xpert Integration. No previous steps are required.

Prerequisites

  1. SSH root access to the Eleveo server (default credentials are admin/zoomcallrec; run su - with the same password to enable root).

  2. Access to Eleveo callrec webUI as admin (default password is admin).

  3. Customer's OpenScape Xpert Administrator access credentials.

Integration Details

OpenScape Xpert is a reliable, multi-line communications solution for financial, energy, and commodity trade, as well as for dispatchers in control centers and Public Safety Answering Points (PSAPs). It increases worker efficiency and productivity while reducing operational cost and complexity.

Eleveo records OpenScape Xpert using the Session Recording Protocol (SIPREC). SIPREC is an open SIP-based protocol for recording VoIP calls. It allows calls to be recorded via SIP messaging sent by a Session Border Controller (SBC) or a Private Branch Exchange (PBX). The SBC or PBX sends the replicated sessions directly to the Session Recording Server (SRS) — in this case, the Eleveo recording server. Additional metadata is provided via SIP messaging.
