Configuring Client for User Importer
Purpose of this guide: This page is the first step in configuring the automatic import of users and groups from UCCE/X into User Management. User Management is used by Eleveo applications. Automatic import is achieved using the Data Provider software.
Audience: A user with admin privileges to User Management application

When: At the beginning of the automatic import configuration process

In order to add a new client, click Provider Clients in the navigation tree on the left. The Provider Clients screen will open. Click Create.
The Add Provider Client screen will display.
Configure:
Client ID – name of the client (for example uccx-users-client)
Client type – type of the import – select User import from the drop-down menu
In order to configure a client to import users and groups from UCCX or UCCE servers to User Management, select User import as Client type. The Historical data import client type is used to configure the client for importing historical data from UCCX or UCCE servers into Eleveo WFM.
Click Save to create a provider.
The new client will be listed on the Provider Clients screen. Note that Client ID and generated Secret will be required later when configuring the data importer for UCCE or UCCX.
