Historical and Adherence Data Import From UCCE, UCCX
An automatic import of historical and adherence data from UCCE/X servers into Eleveo WFM can be achieved by using the Data Importer software. There are two types of WFM Data Importers: one dedicated to UCCE only and another to UCCX only. Each of them can be configured to pull data from several servers at once. The Data Importer periodically connects to the UCCE/X server and pulls historical and adherence data, then connects to the Eleveo WFM application and uploads it there. Data are then used during the forecasting process, as well as for schedule adherence reports.
Connectivity Requirements
Data Importer needs to be deployed inside the same network where the UCCE/X server is; this avoids the need to open additional ports.
However, if it is not possible to deploy it within the same network, a database port should be opened on the firewall, from Data Importer to the UCCE/X. Usually, it is port 1504, but this is configurable (so it can differ). Double-check the port used before configuring the firewall.Data Importer connects to the Eleveo User Management server (myeleveo.com) on port 443 – to ensure that the application functions properly enable connectivity between the Data Importers and myeleveo.com (open port 443 on your firewall; or if there is a proxy in use, configure the proxy as needed).
Configuration Process
The configuration process to automatically import historical data consists of several steps, which should be performed in the following order:
Deploying and configuring UCCE WFM Data Importer or UCCX WFM Data Importer on-premises (based on documentation for the relevant on-premise version).
Alternatively, a custom solution can be used for the import, using the provided API:
